VP-03 Vocoder
The VP-03 is Roland’s modern recreation of the legendary VP-330 Vocoder Plus from the late 1970s. Using ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology, it captures the iconic sound character of the original while adding modern features in a compact format.

Sections
Vocoder Section
The VP-03 includes a comprehensive vocoder with adjustable level, tone, and a three-parameter vibrato (rate, depth, delay time). Connect a microphone to the mic input and play the keyboard to create classic vocoded speech.
Human Voice Section
The human voice section electronically synthesizes vocal sounds with male (8’) and female (4’) settings, allowing for vocoder-like effects without using a microphone.
Strings Section
The strings section creates lush string ensemble sounds with adjustable attack, release, and tone parameters.
